Ancestors of Marie Elodie Vandekerckhove
Birth*Catharina Verbrugge was born.
Birth-note Catharina Verbrugge's father is Jan Verbruge. I believe he is the Jan Verbrugghe who married Maeyke Naert. This Jan had sons Adriaan and Olivier and Adriaan and Olivier were godfather to Catharina's children. Also, Catharina's husband was godfather for one of Oliviers' daughters and one of Adriaan's son. Although Catharina's mother is not given I think it must be Maeyke Naert whose first known child was born in 1613 and last in 1634. Catharina's birth is probably in that range. The relationship is further proved in that Josephus Demare and Maria Verbruggen had dispensation for 3rd and 4th degree of blood for their marriage. Josephus was her great grand son and the common ancestors were Jan Verbruge and Maeyke Naert.
Marriage*She married first, Guillielmus Maes, son of Antheune Maes and Maria Dejaeghere.3,4
(Godmother) BaptismCatharina Verbrughe was godmother at the baptism of her nephew, Petrus Maes on 21 October 1655 at Meulebeke, West Flanders, Belgium.5
