  • [S901] Vanlerberghe Ancestry, among Kay VanLerberg's research notes was a type written page starting with Simon and descending to Constant Vanlerberghe. Most of the information regarding Constant and his father Pierre (Petrus) is basically information we already know. The page does not give any indication as to where it came or what date she received it. The page is written in Flemish so it must have been from someone in Belgium. None of the information was mentioned in the Descendants of Constant VanLerberghe, which she wrote in 1974. This would seem to indicate she received it after 1974 or did not believe the reliability of the source and chose not to include it. However, in my further research in vital records I have verified some of the details and everyone is exactly as shown in the descendancy. Consequently I feel confident that the information is reliable. However, I will continue to add additional proof.
