However her birth record and marriage record say she was born at Island Creek Township. Family sources say the birth was at Osage. Osage is located in Knox Township which is just North of Island Creek Township. The family were farmers and may have lived in the Osage area. They were probably in Island Creek Township as they were enumerated there in the 1880 and 1900 census.
